John Mijac joined Long Realty Company in 2012, after working many years in small Tucson brokerages. Through the years, Mijac has distinguished himself at local, state and national levels.
Nationally, he helped spearhead a successful change in the National Association of REALTORS® Code of Ethics to include sexual orientation as a protected class. John also worked with the Arizona Department of Real Estate to revise the Arizona Purchase Contract, making it compatible with Tila-Respa Integrated Disclosure (TRID) Guidelines. He also participated in Arizona Association of REALTORS ® Committees that explored subjects as diverse as regionalization and transaction management. Locally, John has served on the Boards of the Tucson Association of REALTORS® and the Tucson Association of REALTORS® Multiple Listing Service, where he led the TARMLS MLS vendor committee in researching and replacement of a new MLS system. He also led the latest task force in the rewriting of the MLS Bylaws and changed the governance structure of the MLS. John is recognized for his creative thinking, communication skills and compassionate approach to conflict. Since joining Long Realty, John served as a contract manager at Long Realty´s Tanque Verde Office and as a Sales Manager at the Long Realty Foothills´ Office. On November 1, 2015, Mijac was appointed Long Realty Company Designated Broker.
