Real estate transactions are stressful. There’s serious money involved, and often decades of obligation. Buying a home may be the largest transaction you’ll ever make. Helping reduce stress and anxiety for my clients—both buyers and sellers—is a big part of what I do as a REALTOR®.
It’s not magic, but the result of careful attention to important aspects of the process. Communication is key, so I stay in touch throughout your transaction. I’m also detail-oriented, so I’m always on top of timelines and deadlines, and I make sure you are too. My background includes two decades as a court reporter, and before that I worked as a legal assistant. Paying attention to details, following through, and understanding contracts is second nature for me.
I’m also a strong negotiator. I have advanced training to get the best result for my clients, and, because I work with buyers and sellers, I see transactions from both sides. I’ve represented first-time home buyers and clients in the luxury market. That wide perspective helps produce the smoothest transactions possible. And I personally handle the details, so there are no surprises or miscommunication.
But I never forget the human side. Once I was referred to someone who was renting a home. The owner had approached her about buying the property. She was interested but apprehensive, and just needed a little assistance. I helped her find comparable properties, and referred her to an escrow officer and a title company. The client handled the negotiations and purchased the home.
She was elated to finally be a homeowner. All I did was make it a little easier for her, but that was just what she needed. Communication, negotiation, support. Maybe a little help with staging. That’s what I do. What can I do for you?
