I’m an optimist – first, last and always. That’s the way I’ve lived my life and that’s the way I work in real estate.
I’m originally from Edinburgh, Scotland, and I have lived in Tucson since 1965. I became a REALTOR® in 1976 and received my Broker's license in 1979. I have continued to feel enthusiastic and energetic towards my real estate career knowing I can help clients achieve their goals. I’ve learned the value of perseverance in problem solving whether it be finding the right property or solving the last minute problems that can occur just before closing an escrow.
When I first entered the real estate profession, I dedicated myself to helping people achieve their real estate goals and dreams. It’s the people and the relationships that make the work worthwhile.
I was honored to receive the Barrington Long Award in 2010, which is given annually to those whose “professional accomplishments have made a significant and lasting impact on the field of real estate, and whose life and character have earned the respect and admiration of their professional peers, and whose pioneering spirit and leadership have repeatedly inspired others to excel.”
It’s a privilege to continue this work, day in and day out, and be able to work as a mentor to other agents, sharing the lessons I’ve learned along the way. Most importantly, when a challenge presents itself, professionalism, honesty and some extra hard work can help you make it through. Optimism means having the right outlook for getting things done.
