REALTOR - Foothills - Tucson
I'm Sharon Segal, and I'm a specialist in Residential Real Estate. I've been providing my services to native and prospective Tucsonans for over thirty years. When my family made the decision to move here in 1983, I knew right away that I wanted to serve this city's beautiful and diverse community. I transitioned into my career as a REALTOR® after working as an educator for over fifteen years, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. Every day, I work with real people and make a positive impact in their lives by using my expertise in real estate. My analytical approach integrates in-depth knowledge of the housing market with integrity, perseverance, and patience to get my clients the results they deserve.
My interest in quality construction was fostered at a young age. Growing up in Denver, Colorado, with my father as a builder, I quickly gained an appreciation for architecture. Under the guidance of a friend who has won national awards for his "green buildings," I went on to build a passive solar custom home with my husband, Peter, in New Mexico. In fact, I have lived all over the United States, including the West, Northwest, Midwest, and the East Coast. Tucson, however, is someplace special, and its unique allure is what has kept me rooted here for the last three decades.
I believe in the value of a united community. In addition to my affiliation with the Association of Realtors at the local, state, and national level, I work with the Long Realty Cares Foundation, the GLBT Chamber of Commerce, and several Neighborhood Watch associations. I have also devoted my time to earning a number of real estate certifications, including the Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), and Short Sale & Foreclosure Resource (SFR) designations. When I'm not working, I enjoy travel, nature, reading, yoga, and spending time with my family.
Let me put my qualifications to work for you. Please let me know how I can assist with your real estate needs today!

<strong>We thoroughly interviewed Realtors, and, fortunately, selected Sharon who sold our home quickly. Our home was previously listed for 6 months with another company.</strong>
Sharon's technical expertise, attention to detail, and fine sense of human relations moved this transaction without a hitch. She is eager to go the extra mile!
<strong>We cannot adequately express how grateful we are to you for <em>all</em> you have done to help us! You really have gone above & beyond the call of duty!</strong>
<strong>We appreciate all of the advice and the encouragement you gave us!</strong>
Sharon, We gave you a difficult assignment: "Find us our dream home, make it affordable, and find it <em>fast!<strong>" You did all three, Bless you!</strong></em>
For a couple first time home buyers, we were very happy that we ended up with Sharon. She was thorough, explicit, friendly, and patient the whole way through and advocated for us each step of the way. She sets a high bar and we'd certainly go back to her again.
<strong>You promised us that you would do your utmost to sell our home and that 's what you did!</strong>
Sharon was our agent when we bought our house and again when we sold the house, she is amazing-- goes far beyond the call of duty.
We would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude and appreciation forour realtor, Sharon Segal. As she has assisted us with the sale and purchase ofthree properties in Tucson over the past two years, Sharon has become a friend aswell as trnsted realtor. We have been continually impressed with the thoroughness in which Sharonresearches data on homes we've purchased and sold. She has proven to be an astuteadvisor on the local market when determining sales pricing for homes and we trusther judgment implicitly. Sharon's experience andbreadth of knowledge has successfully led us through the sale of a townhome, thepurchase of a foreclosure, and the sale of our primary residence. Thesetransactions presented quite stressful times for us, and we most appreciatedSharon's calm and reassuring demeanor that helped us to withstand the pressuresof a very difficult real estate market.Of all the property transactions we've experienced, the most challenging without adoubt was the year-long process of the sale of our primary residence. Major kudosgoes to Sharon for 1)managing the intricacies and frnstrations of mountains ofpaperwork and negotiations with bank representatives. She kindly served as a bufferfor the stressors presented by seemingly endless faxes and phone calls, changingrules, multiple offers and dead ends. Through it all, Sharon handled the entire processwith true grace and elegance. We have in fact been so impressed with Sharo's self-possessed, calm demeanor that we now jokingly ask ourselves: "What would Sharonsay" when faced with a frustrating circumstance. We feel quite blessed to know Sharon and to have had the good fortune of herinvaluable help during major life-changing transitions. She obviously feels genuinecompassion for her clients and respects the integrity of all patties involved in real estatetransactions. We absolutely recommend Sharon to anyone wanting to purchase or sellpropetiy in the Tucson area!Sincerely,Lydia Otero · · ·

Sharon was an excellent guide in my first home sale. She was professional, informed, and proactive. I felt pretty overwhelmed by the process going in, but once I started working with Sharon, everything felt like manageable steps. I can't imagine doing it any other way.
