REALTOR - Houghton/Southeast/Vail - Tucson
Having gotten my real estate license in late 2004, I started with Long Realty in February 2005. I transitioned from a family Surveying/Land Development company into being a full time Realtor. My previous job gave me insight into real estate from another perspective. I watched as a subdivision was taken from raw land to platted lots, assisted with AutoCad drafting, county research, interpreting legal descriptions, and of course got to work with the crews surveying everything from vacant land to grading for new development. I began real estate on the land side and transitioned into residential as the market changed.
Education has always been important in my life. I went to college with the intent to teach high school English. I graduated Cum Laude from Fort Lewis College with a degree in English Education. After moving to Arizona (being born and raised in Colorado) with my then fiancé, now husband, teaching lost its luster for me and turned my attention to real estate. I am passionate about my job and education. We are required to take 24 credit hours of classes every two years to keep our license active but I tend to end up with 35-50 hours instead. Education is also important to me in regards to my clients. If I were buying a house, I would want to understand every little step so I make sure my clients are aware of everything we are doing, going to do, might do and help answer the big question of “why” as we go through the process. So my teaching license did come in handy, just not in the way I expected at the time!
Even though I love helping my clients buy and sell houses, I do have other interests. I play golf with my husband, preferring to play in scramble tournaments. I love softball but don’t get to play so much these days. I am active with close friends in a book club and reading is an important part of my life. I also enjoy cooking, baking, landscaping, and always have improvement projects around the house. I have so many interests and am always excited to try something new!

We were so impressed with Jill when buying our house that she was the first and only realtor we called a year later when we were ready to selling our other house. She is amazing to work with. She listen to what we were interested in and didn't try to push us into other directions. We were especially impressed with her knowledge of the local market. When we explained what we were looking to buy and in what price range, she immediately knew of neighborhoods and even floor plans that could work and found exactly what we wanted on the second viewing trip. When we were selling, she pulled together ranges of selling prices so we could prepare for best to worst case, and we had an offer in the time she predicted at the price we expected. The paper-pushing process went smoothly too. She is easy to get in touch with and always kept us up-to-date on every step of the buying and selling process and handled all the details for us, including communicating with our management copmany and organizing repairs. If we ever sell this house (not for a while--we love it!), we would call her up first.
Jill Pilling went above and beyond for us. Best real estate agent we have conducted business with!
Jill is great. Open, honest, and upfront. Jill works fast. Also she is dat, motivated, dedicated. Thank you long, Marilyn, and Jill for making my buying and selling experiences with Long great.
In 2007, we walked in to Long Reality on a Sunday afternoon hoping to find an agent that would help us find our first home and we were lucky enough to meet Jill Pilling. Not only did she help us immediately that day but 11 years later she helped us sell our home. She made the process of buying and selling our home extremely easy. She helped us prepare our home well in advance of the market launch, giving us vital marketing tips to make our home more desirable than the competition. Our home was on the market for 2 weeks when we received a solid bid and it was sold 30 days after. Having Jill assist with home views, contractor appointments, and educating us on our rights was invaluable for us and made both our home buying and selling experiences better than we could have expected, When we sold our home, the buyers title company was unorganized and extremely difficult to work with. Jill was there for us every step of the way managing the expectations and going above and beyond fighting for our best interest as we had moved out of the area to another time zone with a 3 hour difference. Jill is a seasoned agent that is well versed on the real estate process and laws and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell your home in Tucson, particularly on the east side and Vail areas. Jill - we can't thank you enough for everything you've done for us. Mahalo Nui Loa The Villanueva's
Jill was amazing and made the process of selling our home easy and understandable. Couldn’t have been more pleased!
My agent, Jill Pilling was superb. I had to move out of state on short notice so Jill had to handle a lot of the repairs on the house that I normally would have handled. I would recommend her to anyone. If I ever move back to Tucson she is the first person I will call.
I loved the house when I bought it through Jill and I loved selling it through her! She is a gem in your crown.

Jill Pilling was great! She is clearly very knowledgeable, very energetic, and a pleasure to be around. Jill was with us every step of the way and kept us in the loop on everything that was occurring with the sale of our old home and the purchase of the new house.
