REALTOR - Oro Valley - Tucson
As a retired educator and counselor with a Master’s in Education Psychology, I love working face-to-face with people. Real estate can be confusing and complicated without the proper support and guidance. That’s where I come in – I am a natural with guiding clients through their home buying or selling process, both mentally and physically. I am knowledgeable about the ever-changing industry and understand the importance of constant communication to my clients. I want them to feel like I am always available and that they are my top priority. And after 15 years selling real estate, I still remain in contact and receive referrals from my earliest clients.
I especially love working with older clients. Among other designations I have received such as my e-PRO® and Accredited Buyer’s Resource® (ABR®), I am especially proud of earning my Senior Real Estate Specialist® (SRES®) designation. With this, I am better able to help my senior clients through the buying or selling process, as many times they end up alone with little support or idea of what to do. I help them find ‘new’ possibilities when they can no longer stay in their home. Selling their home is the business side of real estate; the rest of what I do for my clients is to develop the personal connection. I help them transition to a new way of living. I love the moment when I can see their fear subsiding, when they discover they have choices and are empowered with knowledge. Being able to share in their new adventure is a gift to all of us.
I am a ‘behind the scenes’ kind of person. I work well as a problem solver, as I’m a forward-thinker, an independent self-starter and always remain objective. Being a great listener and staying well organized are important so my clients feel like their needs are being met. My father’s name was Elmer and I’ve been told I am the Elmer’s Glue to my friends and family. I am able to fix things and put a plan together, while staying calm and relentlessly positive.
Originally from Kansas, my family and I have called Tucson home now since 1998. I love watching our children become positive, productive adults with minds for learning and hearts for caring for others. Since moving to Tucson, I enjoy the desert heat and enjoy having access to the University and the cultural diversity… there is such spirit for life here and I look forward to sharing that with you- talk to me!

Carol Kershaw is the best realtor I have ever worked with. She is very detailed, prompt, and responds Within just a few minutes with email, text, or returning a phone call.
Carol went above and beyond helping us. There were many bumps in the road but Carol was always professional, helpful and positive. She has an uncanny eye when assessing a property, pointing out things I would never have noticed. Her work ethic is amazing, making sure we had all the answers to any questions we had in a timely, and more importantly, accurate manner. She was always available and made us feel like we were her number one priority. We loved her and will highly recommend her to anyone who is looking to buy or sell.
Carol is the best real estate agent I've worked with.
This was my second transaction handled by Carol Kershaw, and I can't imagine dealing with any other realtor. She is the utmost in professionalism. Our process went smoothly because of her thoroughness and knowledge of the many nuances of closing a home sale. We managed to complete the transaction totally on-line. It was a joy! Thank you, Carol Kershaw!
Carol was terrific. We were dealing with a difficult seller and live 2000 miles away in Maryland. Carol assisted us with all the big and little things that were involved in getting the sale finalized in a timely manner. Without her help we probably would not now own our very special house in Oro Valley.
