In 1986, I worked as a Sales Associate for Del Webb’s community, known as Sun City. While everything was under construction, my biggest accomplishment was being able to help with the development of Del Webb Sun City. That was truly an experience I will never forget. After that I decided to make my transition to real estate. As my husband was in the Air Force and had been in some serious situations, I felt like I needed a career that was flexible for raising my three children. Real estate was a perfect choice for this, plus it is always fun to look at beautiful homes all day. I’m proud to say that for the last twenty years I have been in Sun City, supporting residents when in need – listening and caring.

Instilled with a passion for helping others, I have always been active in the Girl Scouts, managing 13 groups and being Service Unit Chairman for the Tucson District. I’ve also done a lot of work with the Red Cross. One project I became involved with was the Humane Society and building a new space for them to continue their wonderful work. I went to the comptroller of Phelps Dodge who owned a home in Lakeside and he generously gave us one acre for $5.00. My husband then drew up the plans for the Humane Society and we had Blue Ridge High School build everything for credit. It was so rewarding to see so many people come together for such a worthy cause.

Originally from Shawnee, Oklahoma, I have lived in Tucson since 1969 after living all over the world. I love everything about the Old Pueblo! During my leisure time, I can be found cooking, entertaining, going to art galleries and fine restaurants.

I am a great listener and I am happy to help my clients find what they are looking for at the price range they are comfortable with. If I can help with your real estate needs, give me a call today!

we were 100% satisfied with Stephanie and Ivy. Very professional, yet so friendly. Sincere advisories were timely and on target. Stephanie so clearly understands the housing market. She has contacts that were excellent also. I give her the highest recommendation!

We originally contacted Stephanie because we thought we were going to buy a house here in Tucson. Coming from Los Angeles, we really had no idea about what area we might like, but we did have certain criteria. Four bedrooms, 3-car garage, in a neighborhood where the houses weren't separated with walls but rather by saguaros. We set up our "scouting day" and once we got to town, Stephanie took us all over Tucson, showing us the houses she'd found that she thought we might like. She was right – many were beautiful. Ultimately, we decided to buy land and build a home instead, and Stephanie easily switched gears, helping us find a lot and close the deal. She even helped us get needed documents from the city (such a help since we were so far away). We can't say enough about how dedicated and professional she was; about how warm and funny she was, and is. It was a pleasure to work with her.

Stephanie Friend was a positive, patient and proactive person in helping us find our forever home. She went above and beyond duty to help us with any questions/concerns and always made herself available when we wanted to come in town (Sometimes at the spur of the moment) to look at homes. Also, she was there every step of the way when going through the buying, building and closing process. For example, she came with me to the color center to help pick out tile and carpet. I will highly recommend her to my friends and family if they are in search of a home in the Arizona area.
